AUSTIN PBS WRITERS SHOWCASE 2026

We’re excited to announce that finalists have been selected for this year’s Writers Showcase! You can see the winning stories below. 

We had an amazing time reading all of the submissions for the 2026 Writers Showcase and are excited to celebrate our finalists and all authors! We’d love for all of our participants to join us for this special ceremony on Saturday, May 16th, where the finalists will be able to read their stories right on our very own Studio A stage. Even if your young one’s story wasn’t selected this year, it’s a huge achievement just to submit their writing. Finalists will also have a chance to pick up their participation certificates. This FREE event will be full of fun!
